At more than 7 feet tall and weighing more than 300 pounds, Eli Cottonwood is the most physically-imposing NXT Rookie yet. But don�t let his size fool you; Cottonwood boasts an impressive athletic resume that his WWE Pro, John Morrison, will surely look to build upon. Cottonwood is a former college basketball player for St. John`s University and also played at the professional level in Asia, Europe and in the NBA. After his career as a basketball player, Cottonwood took what he had learned and passed it on to future players looking to follow in his footsteps. As a basketball coach for St. John�s and for the University of Wisconsin, he knows that there is always room for improvement and that any criticism needs to be taken into account when enhancing his game. However, sheer size and an athletic edge aren�t the only things Eli Cottonwood brings to WWE NXT. Along with being a star basketball player, he also graduated from St. John�s with a bachelors degree in psychology. Cottonwood will no doubt use that to his advantage and try to get inside the heads of the other season two NXT Rookies. Cottonwood has a considerable size advantage, but he may also have the mental fortitude to handle criticism and outlast the other NXT Rookies.
